Privacy Policy

Your selected Image Tools files are processed locally. Website analytics is optional and stays off until you allow it. Advertising appears only on our articles and guides, and only after you allow it. Apps have separate data practices described in the product notices below.

Who this notice covers

JesterMedia is a registered DBA. Contact support@jestermedia.app for privacy questions, access, correction, deletion, or a concern about this notice. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or identity documents in an initial email.

This notice covers JesterMedia websites, browser tools, and support. Product-specific notices explain app features, advertising, accounts, and cloud services in more detail.

Website connection data

Our hosting and delivery providers receive standard connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser details, and request time to deliver pages, maintain reliability, and protect services. Pages that use Google Fonts request font files from Google, which receives connection information. We do not offer a way to prevent the technical connections necessary to deliver the page while still loading that page.

Optional website analytics

Pages offering analytics use Google Analytics only after you select Allow analytics. It may process page visits, approximate region, browser/device information, referral information, and cookie identifiers to help us understand use of the website. The integration does not send URL query strings or fragments in its configured page-location value and disables Google signals and advertising-personalization signals.

Select Privacy choices in a page footer to decline or withdraw your choice. Declining does not affect access to the website. Withdrawing turns off this integration, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page to stop its running code. It does not erase data already received by Google; contact us for a data request. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping website analytics off.

We store your choice in this browser’s local storage for up to six months. Analytics cookies are configured with a six-month duration and may refresh during accepted visits. If storage is unavailable, no saved preference is assumed. Google’s own processing and retention are described in Google’s Privacy Policy. We retain access to analytics information only for traffic analysis and service improvement and review its necessity. The Image Tools page does not load Google Analytics, even if you allow it elsewhere.

Optional website advertising

Our articles and guides — JesterMedia Insights, Resources, Labs, and the Newsroom — offer Google AdSense advertising. No advertising request is made until you select Allow ads. Other pages on this website, including product pages, legal pages, support, merch, and Image Tools, do not offer advertising at all.

Once allowed, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies and read similar identifiers to select, measure, and report on advertising, and may use your IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, and the page you are reading. Advertising may be personalized where permitted, and that processing may constitute sale or sharing under some privacy laws. We do not describe this advertising data as anonymous. Google describes this processing in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Allowing analytics does not allow advertising, and allowing advertising does not allow analytics. If storage is unavailable, no saved preference is assumed. Our seller record is published at ads.txt.

Image Tools

Image Tools reads a file only when you select or drop it. Its image transformations use browser processing, and the current tools do not upload selected images to JesterMedia or an AI provider. Downloaded results are saved through your browser. Website hosting and font requests still involve connection data. Close the page to end the editing session; downloaded files remain under your control.

Support and correspondence

When you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments or troubleshooting information you choose to provide. We use them to respond, investigate the issue, protect the service, and maintain relevant support records. Email providers process messages for delivery and storage. Please send only information needed for your request.

Apps, advertising, and purchases

Depending on the app, Firebase and other providers process sign-in details, user-entered records, saved content, analytics, and diagnostics. Free app tiers may include advertising. Advertising identifiers and related signals can be used for targeted advertising where permitted, and that processing may constitute sale or sharing under some privacy laws. We do not describe all advertising data as anonymous. See the app’s policy and controls.

Apple or Google processes app-store payments. We receive entitlement or transaction information needed to provide purchased features, rather than full card details. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription.

Merch and external links

Merch links open a Printful Quick Store. Printful handles checkout, payment, delivery, and order support and collects the information needed for those services under its own privacy policy. As the store operator, JesterMedia may access order and sales information made available by Printful for store administration, reconciliation, and legal obligations. We do not receive full payment-card details. Contact Printful through the store footer for order help and consult the privacy information in its store.

Amazon, app stores, referral destinations, and other linked services apply their own policies when you visit them. Referral relationships are disclosed beside the relevant recommendations.

Why information is processed

We process information to provide requested services and purchases, answer requests, maintain security and reliability, and meet legal obligations. Where a law requires a legal basis, the relevant basis may be performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing services, legal obligations, or consent for optional processing. Consent can be withdrawn without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Providers and international processing

Providers may process information in the United States and other countries. They include hosting and email providers, Google services, Apple, and Printful as relevant to the service you use. Where required for an international transfer, applicable safeguards must be used. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data.

Retention and security

Local data remains until cleared in the app or removed with the app, subject to device backups. Account and cloud records are retained to operate the features you use and handle deletion requests. Support, transaction, and security records may be retained as needed to resolve the request, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Service providers may retain separate records under their own policies. Contact us about a particular record or deletion request.

We use access controls and encrypted connections for supported cloud features. Authorized service providers and administrators may process data to operate, maintain, and secure the service. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

Manage app permissions in your device settings. Where the app presents Privacy Options or an advertising consent form, use those controls to review your choices. iOS tracking settings and Android advertising settings provide additional controls, but do not replace all consent choices. Purchases and subscriptions are managed through the store account used to pay; deleting an app or account does not cancel a subscription.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; withdraw consent; restrict or object to processing; or opt out of targeted advertising or sale/sharing as those terms are legally defined. Contact us to exercise these rights or appeal a decision. We may verify your request using information proportionate to the request. We do not discriminate for exercising a privacy right. You may also contact your local privacy regulator.

Children

Our business website and contact channels are intended for a general audience. Some games may appeal to children; review the relevant product notice. A content age rating is not a statement that an app collects no data. If you believe a child’s information was collected improperly, contact us with the product and concern so we can investigate and address it. Do not send unnecessary information about the child.

We publish the revision date when this notice changes. Where required, we provide additional notice or request consent before materially changing how we use information. A revised notice does not retroactively authorize a new use of previously collected data.
