Privacy policy
Last updated September 17, 2026
This policy explains how JesterMedia handles information in Jester Prism and when you contact us about the game.
No account is required. Progress is saved on your device. The game uses Firebase Analytics and advertising services; offline gameplay does not mean that the app never sends information when connected.
Information on your device
Jester Prism saves your unlocked chamber, prism dust balance, remaining Reveal, Shatter and Prism charges, best star result for each chamber, daily streak, sound and haptic preferences, and your analytics preference in local app storage. An unfinished chamber is saved so that Continue can resume it, and is cleared when that chamber is completed. The game does not provide a JesterMedia account or cloud progress sync, and progress does not move between devices.
The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location. It does not ask you to provide a player name, email address, or payment information to play.
Gameplay analytics
Jester Prism uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand gameplay and improve the experience. Analytics is enabled by default in the release app and can be turned off using Share gameplay analytics in settings.
The events the game sends are: starting a chamber, with its number and region name; finishing or failing a chamber, with its number, whether it was solved, the number of moves used, the chamber's target, the stars earned, and how many orbs were lit; retrying a chamber, with its number; using a booster, with which booster and the chamber number; receiving booster charges from a reward, with which booster and how many; starting a rewarded video and whether its reward was earned; taking a rewarded continue, with the chamber number; and a seven-day streak restock, with the day count.
The service also processes app-instance identifiers and technical usage information such as app version, operating system, device characteristics, and sessions. These identifiers are not your name, but they are not the same as anonymous data.
The app's analytics integration denies consent for ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation, and does not collect the Apple identifier for vendors. Turning analytics off stops this integration's future collection; it does not automatically delete information already received by Google.
Advertising and consent
Jester Prism uses Google AdMob for menu banners, occasional ads between completed chambers, and optional rewarded videos. Rewarded videos are never required to play: they can add three moves to an attempt or replace a spent booster charge, and restarting a chamber is always free. AdMob can use Unity Ads and Liftoff Monetize (Vungle) as mediation partners. Which provider serves an ad depends on availability and configuration.
Advertising services may process IP addresses, approximate region inferred from IP, app or device identifiers, device and app details, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. This supports ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and service reliability. See Google's mobile ads data disclosure.
The current app requests non-personalized ads and applies restrictive privacy settings to its mediation partners. This does not prevent the technical data processing needed to deliver or measure ads. Google's User Messaging Platform presents consent messages where required and configured. An Ad privacy choices control appears when the consent service requires it. The current app does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission.
Disabling gameplay analytics does not disable ad delivery or advertising-provider diagnostics. We do not sell player information for money. Some advertising disclosures may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable laws; use the available ad privacy controls or contact us to make a request.
Service providers
These providers explain their own processing and privacy options:
- Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information
- Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy
- Liftoff Privacy Policy
- Apple Privacy Policy for store, device, backup, and operating-system services
Your choices and requests
- Turn off Share gameplay analytics in the game to stop future gameplay analytics collection.
- Use Ad privacy choices when shown to review available advertising choices.
- Use iOS Delete App to remove local app data. Offloading the app may preserve data, and device backups may retain copies.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of information, or to exercise applicable advertising opt-out rights. Depending on where you live, you may also have portability, objection, appeal, or regulator complaint rights.
Because Jester Prism does not have accounts, we may need limited information to locate a record. We will explain what is necessary and any limits that apply. Turning off analytics or deleting local data does not by itself delete past provider records.
Children's privacy
Jester Prism is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game or support, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the game's data handling changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to play after a change means the current policy applies.
