JesterMedia LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Jester's Gambit collects, uses, and protects your information.
Jester's Gambit supports sign-in with Apple, Google, Email/Password, or anonymous guest play. When you create an account, Firebase Authentication stores your authentication credentials (email address or OAuth token). We never see or store your Apple or Google passwords.
We store the following in Firebase Firestore under your account:
This data exists solely to power your in-app experience — streaks, leaderboards, and friends comparison.
If you set a username, your username and daily completion count (0–9 games) are visible to other signed-in users on the global daily leaderboard and to any users who have added you as a friend. Your full score details are only visible to your confirmed friends. You can choose not to set a username to remain off the leaderboard entirely.
The free version of Jester's Gambit displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect anonymized device identifiers and usage signals to serve relevant ads. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Upgrading to Jester's Gambit Pro removes all ads entirely.
We collect anonymized crash reports and performance diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix bugs. This data is not linked to your identity.

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly in the app: go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account & Data and confirm. This deletes your authentication record, scores, username, and friends list immediately and is irreversible.
If you need assistance with account deletion, contact support@jestermedia.app and we will process the deletion within 7 days.
You can play all 9 daily games as a guest without creating an account. Guest play uses an anonymous Firebase session stored on-device. No personally identifiable information is collected. Guest data is not backed up and will be lost if the app is deleted.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required to operate our services (e.g., Firebase for authentication and data storage) or as required by law.
Jester's Gambit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Residents of California (CCPA) and Virginia (VCDPA) may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. To exercise these rights, contact support@jestermedia.app. We will respond within 45 days. You may also delete your data directly in the app as described above.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including Firebase Security Rules that restrict data access to the owning user's authenticated session. No security system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post updates here and revise the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Jester's Gambit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
