SubClarity Privacy Policy

Short version: SubClarity uses the subscription and recurring-bill details you manually enter to build monthly totals, renewal calendars, and cleanup guidance. We do not connect to your bank, sell your subscription data, or use your entered subscription details for advertising.
SubClarity is currently available for iOS, with Android coming soon.
Information We Collect
SubClarity may collect your email address, Apple sign-in identifier, or Google sign-in identifier through Firebase Authentication so you can create a profile. The app stores subscription names, amounts, billing cycles, categories, first renewal dates, owner names, shared/private flags, essential flags, notes, monthly target, and related settings that you enter.
How We Use Information
- To sign you in and manage your profile.
- To calculate monthly totals, annualized totals, renewal schedules, and cleanup candidates.
- To back up signed-in SubClarity data with Firebase so it can restore on another device.
- To provide subscriptions, restore purchases, and remove ads for Premium users.
- To diagnose crashes and improve app reliability.
Advertising
The free version may show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers subject to your device privacy settings. Premium users do not see banner ads inside SubClarity.
Bank Connections
SubClarity does not request, collect, or store bank credentials or payment card numbers. All subscription data is manually entered by you.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase Authentication and Firestore by Google for sign-in and cloud backup.
- Firebase diagnostics services where enabled to improve reliability.
- Google AdMob for free-tier advertising.
- Apple App Store for subscriptions and billing on iOS.
- Google Play for Android distribution and billing when the Android version is released.
Data Deletion
You can delete your profile from Settings in the app. This removes your Firebase Auth profile, attempts to delete the cloud backup for the current user, and clears local SubClarity data on the device. You may also contact support@jestermedia.app for help.
Children's Privacy
SubClarity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
