How does PayClarity split bills?
PayClarity supports three split methods: Proportional (each person pays a share of bills proportional to their take-home income โ if you earn 60% of household income, you cover 60% of bills), Equal (50/50), and Custom (you set each person's exact percentage). Change this anytime in Settings.
How do I invite my partner?
After creating a household, an Invite Partner card appears in the Overview tab. Copy the 6-digit code from there. Your partner opens PayClarity, signs in, and enters the code on the onboarding screen to join your household. The code is also in Settings โ Sharing.
What is the Transfer tab?
The Transfer tab shows each household member exactly how much to move on payday, when to move it, and a fairness explanation of why that amount is their share. There's also a monthly checklist to track that bills are paid, transfers are made, and savings are moved. Long-press any transfer instruction to copy it as text.
What is Money Date?
Money Date is a monthly household check-in. Open the Spending tab and tap the Money Date button to review your household income, bills, savings, and surplus together. Each partner taps "I Agree" on their own device to confirm the plan. Notes are saved for reference next month.
How do I cancel PayClarity Premium?
Open the iOS Settings app โ tap your Apple ID โ Subscriptions โ PayClarity โ Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Premium access until the end of your billing period.
How do I restore Premium on a new device?
Open PayClarity โ Settings โ Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID that originally purchased Premium.
How do I set up payday reminders?
Go to Settings โ Reminders. Toggle on "Transfer reminders" and make sure the household members have a payday day set (edit each member and set the day of month their paycheck arrives). Biweekly users get two notifications per month; weekly users get four.
Is my financial data private?
Yes. Your household's income, bill amounts, and budget data is stored in Firebase Firestore and is only accessible to confirmed members of your household. PayClarity never sells your data. See our

How do I delete my account?
To leave a household: Settings โ Leave Household. To sign out: Settings โ Sign Out. For full account deletion, email
support@jestermedia.app and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
